I've been a victim of a twitter scam, nothing too serious just some marketing junk that gets posted now and again.

So I decided to change my password and never thought much about it after that. I was in my bed just finish chatting and when I hanged up I checked my mail quickly. I noticed there was a twitter mail advising that I've changed my password and i need to 'reset' it.

At the time I never throught much about it and was about to do since it was on my phone, switched on my computer and opened outlook. Saw that twitter mail and noticed it came from a weird email address and then it hit me - the trojan wanted me to input my new password and for them to change it and to use the account again...sneeky.

Or just don't use Twitter.

That way you get the benefits of:
a) not using Twitter; and
b) not getting hacked.

Two birds with one stone.

I've been using this method and it's working very well for me :p

Nevertheless, thanks for the heads up!
