Hi.
Ive just seen my bank balance drop by a grand, because ive just ordered two 2407WFPs A04s. :)
Ive calcutated that they will take up the full width of my desk. :eek:
Apart from the usual 'oooh, errr, should i have bought' thing i get when i buy something, i was wondering if there was anyone on here with two of them as well who'd be willing to post some pics?

Also, i take it that if its got a dead pixel/sub pixel, i can just ring Dell, be economical with the truth and get a replacement the next day? :p

How do you find using them? Im used to dual screens anyway, but with each desktop being so big...?

And im gonna have to start redoing all my custom wallpapers again. :( :p.
 
Nice setup, just got my 2407WFP delivered today, can't wait to get home and set it up :D

2 of them together does look sweet but i just can't justify having 2 of them!
 
out of interest, how do games look when the res is knocked down to 1680x1050? I probably won't be upgrading my card for a while so i may have to lower the res a tad for a few of the latest games. (I'm not in a huge games playing phase at the moment though, to be fair)

Mine should be arriving tomorrow. So im hoping i have time to set them up and play after i get in from work. :)

It scales well to other resolutions (well, the graphics card is doing the work, but the screen has the potential).

Scaling seems fine to me, had to knock CS:S down earlier as I only have a lowly X800pro :p

Tried at 1680, 1440 &1280 and seemed ok :)

I want dual monitors, I have £600 saved but I don't know if a can bring myself to blow it on 2 monitors!

Go for it!
I blew £600 a year and a half ago on two Samsung 172X's. One of the best things ive ever done. Trust me, dual monitors, plus Ultramon, and you'll wonder how you ever managed with just the one. :)
And with my two 2407s coming tomorrow (hopefully), im in for dual widescreen high res goodness. :D :D
