So...I'm guessing this has been asked a gazillion times...
Anyway, my friend and her brother both have 360s. Hers worked fine and had an open NAT until her bro got one. Now he ALWAYS has the open NAT and she will ALWAYS have a strict NAT. They are using a BT Homehub 2.
I have tried portforwarding and still the same. I tried DMZ and it stopped both of them from connecting to XBox Live at all. Is there any way to solve this?
I had the same issue when my brother got his xbox...but he's moved out now so it's ok :p

i haz 3 xbox's in the same house no problems with nat, your problem is the home hub, i can't even start to describe how much i hate these things. get shot of it and bt all together.

Sounds daft but on the first xbox i cleared the net settings then just set it up again and then tested and it worked fine and then done the same with the second xbox and all has been well since. It occasionally changes when im playing mw2 but it was a simple solution i found somewhere on google.

It isn't, the only thing the homehub is actually good for is two open nats on one router.

Does unp have any effect on xbox's ?

Want to be alittle bit more helpfull and say what router/provider your using then? :)

I'm interested in this too.

First Xbox360 doesn't have any issues (connected directly to main router).

Mine however, connected via a 10 metre cable from router in room to router in bedroom is constantly dropping connection and warning me I have a Moderate NAT.

You can't have 2 xbox on the same router and have open NAT on both, it's impossible. The router can't forward the same ports to two different machines at the same time, which is essentially what you are asking it to do.

The best medium is to have one xbox on upnp and the other in the DMZ, then you'll have open NAT on one and Moderate NAT on the other.

I can't for the life of me get this working on a linksys WRT54GL with tomato. as said above one will usually connect fine with an open NAT while the other will generally connect to live but tryin to join party chats or games is a no go.

I've tried all sorts of combinations such as static IP's with ports forwarded, upnp, DMZ etc. nothing works so I've given up and just left one off Live for now
