Hi guys,

I know you gurus have answered this question, numerous times, but I don't appear to be able to find the answer to my exact question.

Currently, I have two internet connections, both 1Mb up/ 1Mb down. One of them is plugged into my router and is shared wirelessly. The other is plugged directly into my computer. Is there anyway I can split the internet traffic? The thing is, my computer, obviously, prefers only to use the connection plugged in directly, rather than routing via the router.

Is it possible to utilise both simultaneously?

I believe it is possible but you'll have to get a special router :\ that's all I know.

did you mean like have both connections going at the same time? so that say the wireless goes down your not left standing waiting for it to reconnect?

With a suitably configured router, you could load balance between the two. To get a single unified connection with the bandwidth of the two combined would need ISP support.
