Two different video cards = BSOD

I have been trying to get a three monitor setup going for some time.

I have a 4850 which is good for two but for number three I need to add another card.

I bought a cheapo radeon 7000 PCI (which turned out to be a mobility 7000, thanks China) and I thought it would just work with my catalysts, but now it seems it will not work and wants me to install separate drivers. I tried just for kicks and it will sometimes boot into windows and BSOD, or just give me a stop 0x0000007E error halfway through booting. Did a system restore and all is well.

Then I re-installed the old catalysts and set the computer to initialise PCI first....got into windows, getting an output on the third monitor but then BSOD in windows. Another system restore and back to normal.

Is there any PCI card that would happily co-exist with my 4850? Is there any way to get the Radeon 7000 working from anyone's experience? I have heard of people doing it this way and I can't see how you can run one computer and two different sets of drivers at the same time.

Any suggestions are welcome because I am out of ideas.

Woops, forgot to mention I am running XP.
