I just bought a monitor which is exactly the same as the one I already have. Checking device manager, both of the monitors have the same drivers. Both monitors OSD settings are exactly the same too but in a certain game one monitor flickers (like that loading/menu flicker you get with gsync but its in the game also).

I can't figure out why..

I seem to have reduced the flicker (more like to how the other monitor is. I turned the screen refresh rate down from 144hz to 100hz in Nvidia control panel. I don't game above 100 fps anyway luckily. It might be worth leaving this here to possibly help some others.

It was more of a brightness blinking which you get in a lot of Gsyncs when loading games or in certain desktop applications.

I guess it's a power issue.

P.S. What was weird though was that after changing the monitors refresh rate in the Nvidia control panel I started up one game and I still had to change the refresh rate again in the game for it to take effect. I assumed Nvidia overrid that.

Are you using 2x G-Sync monitors side by side from the same system at the same time?

No. one is an old one that I cracked and I got it back out to compare. Exact same model but even a different OSD. I bought the one I was having issues with the flickering second hand, it also has a couple of less options in the OSD.

It's second hand so I can't return but it's okay like I said I never gamed over 90 frames on my other monitor.

Sorry for replying to this old thread but I just wanted to say that I finally got to the bottom of the issue. All it was was a simple setting in the Nvidia control panel.

I Changed the G-Sync setting "windowed mode and full screen mode" to "full screen mode". I am not sure why the former setting has such a bad impact on the monitor.
