Two gpu's or one?

Hey guys im building a new rig, My current one is so old it struggles with world of tanks! and with battlefield 3 on the way i want a new setup.

So i keep changing my mind on what i should get.

I thought i was onto a winner with this

Then i thougt of battlefield be heavly linked with nvida would there cards run better with that game so i thought of this.

Then i thought for a bit extra cash should i just go the whole hog and get 2 of these!

(is there a slightly cheaper option than this one that out performs the top card?)

Really i dont know if i should crossfire 2 slightler cheaper gpus or get 1 good one?

Hi, would advise getting 8Gb of ram, not because you need it but it would be silly not to as its so cheap just now, bound to go up in price sometime. As for graphics, i would err on the side of caution and go for 2Gb cards as its future proofing for games that are using more and more Vram. Something like this card for instance.

At what resoloution will you be gaming?

1680-1050. Thats the native setting and i dont feel the need to go any higher.

560/570 or 6950/6970 should cope fine.

The above statements contradict each other, anyone upgrading to a new rig must surely be thinking 1920 X 1080 at least.
