Hi i want to install a second drive into my computer, and install Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit on it, but the problem is that i already have a HDD with Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit on it and want to have two OS in one PC so when i turn on the PC i can go to BIOS and chose wherever i want to run private OS or the OS that has my work files on it.
How do i install the second OS do i have to unplug the other HDD to install the second Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit on new HDD or leave it in ?

unplug it,do new install on other hdd, when done plug other back in and the set in bios hdd boot order or press f8,or f12 depends what make of board to bring up the boot order and choose which os/hdd to boot into, currently have two win7 installs myself, works a treat

if you leave the os hdd in and try doing new install on your new hdd it will screw up the boot record,so unplug it

Plug in your New Empty HDD and login to your Old Windows. Put the Windows DVD in and start setup.exe.

Press "Install Now"...

It will reboot after installation. It will then give you a option of which Windows 7 installation you want to start.
