Hi,

I've been searching and can't seem to find a conclusive answer.

Is it possible when using an OEM copy of Windows 7 to install it on two different HDD's on the same PC?

For example, I want to play BF3 but don't want origin spying on me. So I was thinking of partitioning part of my larger storage drive and installing win 7/origin/bf3 on there (nothing else) and then choosing to boot from that drive when I want to play BF3

Is this allowed using a OEM license?

Nope, the Windows 7 EULA states amongst other things: 'One Copy per Computer. You may install one copy of the software on one computer. That computer is the “licensed computer.” '

You'd think it wouldn't matter as obviously you can only be using one installation at a time on a dual-boot machine, but that's the way it is unfortunately.
