Hi guys
It was just over 13 years ago when i purchased my first pc .. it was a pentium 4 with 512mb ram and a ati radeon 9320 ... that was my first graphic card and i also got the gpu upgrade bug and ive bought a new card each year without fail
well ive just completed my spare rig so now i have two gaming pc,s ( nothing high end ) and a playstation 3 for some sunday afternoon fun
1) main rig :
core i5 3330 ( 3.2ghz)
8gb ddr3 (1333mhz) corsair xms3
msi z77a g41 mobo
msi r9 270x (4gb)
asus xonar dgx soundcard ( pci-e )
1 x 128gb sandisk ssd (boot drive )
1 x 1tb seagate HDD
samsung writemaster dvdrw
520w seasonic psu ( non-modular )
aerocool xpredator x1 red devil chassis
2) spare rig :
core i3 3220
gigabyte GA-H61MA-D2V mobo
8gb ddr3 1333mhz ( generic )
sapphire radeon HD6850 (1gb)
1 x 500gb HDD
sandisk readycache ssd ( for improved speed )
sansumg dvdrw
soundblaster x-fi extreme audio (pci-e )
coolermaster cm-690 chassis

both these system more than meet my requirements infact the spare no.2 pc is mainly used as a general pc for facebook and audio playback ( thats why i added the x-fi extreme soundcard and allthough this is a old soundcard it can still produce the goods
some may say i should have used the "coolermaster cm-690" for my main system however visually the aerocool xpredator x1 red devil is much cleaner and also has excellent cooling capabiltys
gaming wise the main rig runs games better however the core i3 and HD6850 combo can also produce some sterling frame rates in all but the most demanding games
so what do you guys think ... be gentle !
cheers guys !

If they more then meet your requirements why do you care what we think?

I'd say you're lucky to have your needs met without having to spend too much

Soundcards are pointless

Amp/dacs are where you get actual sound quality. Onboard audio on a motherboard is just as good as a soundcards.
