Kingston's KHX1600C9D3X2K2/8GX is a kit of two 512M x 64-bit 4GB DDR3-1600MHz CL9 SDRAM (Synchronous DRAM) memory modules, based on sixteen 128M x 8-bit DDR3 FBGA components per module. Each module kit supports Intel® XMP (Extreme Memory Profiles). Total kit capacity is 8GB. Each module kit has been tested to run at DDR3-1600MHz at a low latency timing of 9-9-9-27 at 1.65V. Damn, the silly prices on DDR3 continue. :D wonder if we'll see 8GB kits for £20 inc VAT any time soon or if prices will start to go back up before that.

Do motherboards work ok these days with all 4 ram slots filled? I know there might be some issues with overclocking.

Well I already have 2 x 4 of kingston stockpiled for my next build, but thinking it might be worth grabbing another set anyway!
It works well in my sons i3 build.

Already have 2x4 8gig, running @ 1.575 volts
going on whats been said it wont really effect OCing
but if i get another set to make 16gig will i need to up the voltage ?

Was more of an issue with older chipsets like 1366 where having all the memory slots occupied would make overclocking a little more challenging.

Does anyone know what the command rate is on that mamba ram? I'm running 2T so i'm hoping there won't be a clash if it's different.

wow those Vipers look nice. Which of the two is the better for headroom?

But then, the Samsung Green is also on offer, so hard to choose!
