I currently have a 24.5" Full HD 75hz display from Iiyama. Ive no issues with the display itself but having got used to using a dual monitor setup at work, I feel a bit deprived back on the home computer.
I would be looking at getting a 1440p 144hz I think to compliment a new Ryzen build but have a few questions.

Can I run one monitor at 144hz and a second one at 60hz?
Ideally I would need them to match so it didn't look out of place.
I presume I wouldn't be able to run one at 1440p and the other at full HD?
Either that or I just get rid of the Iiyama and get a decent but larger 27" monitor and suck it up.

No issues running 1x1440p 144hz and 1x1080p 60hz, it's all down to what your graphics card can handle, but most modern ones should be able to manage that fine anyway.

Excellent. Thanks for your input. My graphics card is a Vega 56 sapphire pulse if it makes any difference. I'll have a look through the settings when I get a chance. I'll maybe test with old old monitor as a secondary before I take the plunge.

Alright, so just tested with 720p on one and 1080p on other both at 70hz, memory clock 300mhz, 30c idle, seems to work fine though I cant say for sure for 1440p and 1080p is gonna be the same as I dont have, maybe someone else can confirm. If you mix refresh though you will get constant max memory clock and much hotter idling (2000mhz mem and 48c idle in my case)

Thanks for doing a little test for me. Very helpful. I'll have to look into this further then and if anyone else can maybe try similar I would be grateful.
I see I can get the Dell Dell S2719DGF for around £300 now.

Its not really a huge issue but some might not like it if they like to run really cool, Its actually quite a big difference atleast 18C in my case compared to matched refresh (on a 580 8GB). There's no real harm in running the memory clock at max constantly.
That is a fair difference. I'll look into prices and max sizes for my desk when I get home later in the week.

Just done some measuring, I won't be able to fit a dual setup unless i get rid of my printer and move my desktop too. Even then I think I would be limited to 24"

I've just been playing around with custom resolutions in the Radeon settings. I've managed to set my 75Hz Iiyama monitor to 140Hz and all seems well.
