Hi all
I'm a little out of touch with overclocking. My motherboard and chip supports Speedstep and NoExecuteBit support.
I know what they do in terms of slowing down the chip when idle and helping to counter viruses that look to certain memory locations... however is there any knock on effect from using these options when overclocking
i.e. lower performance, how quickly does speedstep react when using apps?
Cheers
p.s. Happy New Year!
