Two mouse on one computer?

I have two mouse connected to the computer (one for normal use and one for gaming), is there a way to disable one of them when not in use without disconnecting the cable as the mouse sensor moves the cursor around?

Yeah you unplug the cable, about as easy as disabling it. No idea why you want two though...

You can get USB hubs with switchable on/off ports.

Does it matter if the USB hub is USB 2 or 3?

Not if you are just using it for mice - higher bandwidth of USB3 is only useful for flash drives etc.
