Two OS's installed?!?!

PC went crazy, so had to reinstall windows.

Now when it boots, I have a choice of two windows to load. One works, the other is corrupt.

I have formatted and installed once, but it still gives a choice of two.

How can I get rid of this other part if a format doesnt work?

Start -> Run -> Msconfig -> Boot

Highlight the Old Install Then click delete :cool:

or system properties > advanced > startup & recovery settings > remove old install

if it's 2000/XP/2003

start, run, c:\boot.ini

remove the offending line, save

That was spot on, something thats actually easy on a PC, lol
