Hi Guys,

I have tro pc's, both with different problems.

PC One:

When I start Windows XP, logon, I get an error message, asking me to activate Windows. So, I click "Activate Windows Now", few seconds later I get a message saying, "Windows has already been activated."

So, I Click okay. It logs be out to the user login page, back to square one.

PC Two:

My old man has Windows Vista Ultimate and Windows XP Professional installed on his machine. Now, when he starts up the PC, it asks him which O/S he'd like to start. If he selects, Vista, it loads just fine. However if he selects Windows XP. It tells him some file is missing. The only way to start XP correctly, for him is to have his original XP Professional disk in the CD Drive.

Any ideas guys?

Thanks for any help! :)

Use vistabootpro on your dads pc to sort the menu out. Or just grab the ntldr (assume its saying this is missing) file and stick it on the boot partition
