Two pin fan to 3 pin?

I've managed to scavenge a pair of 80mm fans from a buggered PSU and want to drop them in the case.

However the one fan has a black and red cable on one plug and a yellow and yellow/black cable on the other plug. Going to a 3 pin cable for my fan controler has can anyone say which cable I would mate to which? Red to red, bacl to black but which of the two from rpmmeasureing plug would I use?

The other fan only has red + black can this go to to the red + black on a fan controller and no worry about the yellow cable?

Red/black were easy, it was plain yellow for speed control.
Have how got the fan screwed to a weird funnel thing that came with the case and zip tied into the spare two 5.25 bays. Voila fresh air done more than a little heath robinson!
