Anyone got some suggestions for two people to play some simple games over the internet?

Basically got two laptops (one has a poor internet connection) of a fairly low spec (2012 bought budget ones).

Looking for some suggestions to play some games over the internet against and with each other.

Actually struggling to find anything!

Happy for anything even as simple as a flash game!

Any suggestions most welcome! :)

P.s one laptop has windows 7 and one has windows 8.1 I can't see any microsoft games on the 8.1 version.

There's always the online version of cards against humanity. I wont link it because pretty much every card there isn't forum/family friendly but its not too hard to find, completely free and definitely a giggle.

Sounds interesting! Can't seem to find it myself. Any chance of a message through trust? Thank you. :)

I would recommend Hero Academy and Frozen Synapse. Both turn-based games so even if you do drop a few frames it doesn't matter.

Me and the old man used to hook up arcade pool 2 over ip.

15 odd years ago mind, there's probaly better stuff around these days

As easy as googling "Cards Against Humanity Online". Quite literally.

There's also Memoir '44 online, which is purely 2-player (or 1 against bot) and contains a few free maps, or Ticket to Ride if you don't mind paying a few quid for that (it's fab).

Also, Card Hunter is pretty good, free to play, and supports multiplayer battles.

as Pestilence said its super easy to find, but i sent you a message anyway, along with a quick tip about what decks to avoid so you dont drown in anime references you don't get
