What sort of games are there that two players can play at the same time (on the same screen). We’re playing Street Fighter IV now and it’s brilliant fun, I hadn’t played street fighter in years but it is great fun, but I can’t seem to think of others.

But what others are there? Most of the games I have seem to be FPS’s that that don’t have two-player modes.

Cheers.

There's a few that come to mind spread across various genres like Rocket League, The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, BroForce, all of the LEGO games, Magicka, Gang Beasts.

I think Keep Talking Nobody Explodes is sort of local multi-player on the same screen, in the sense that one person defuses the bomb while the other person reads them the instructions.

Resident Evil 6 I believe does a split screen multi-player mode.

Wow I’ve never even heard of most of them before, I’ll check out some reviews, Cheers.

Trine's a good shout, me and my niece enjoy playing through that series.

Never Alone was quite a nice co-op experience too, not sure if it's local co-op on the PC though as we played that one on the PS4.

Tomb Raider and the Temple of Osiris is another fairly good local co-op game, the puzzles are a little simple but overall it's still quite enjoyable.

Multiplayer games that I play when mates are round.

Rocket League - Awesome game, split screen works perfectly.
Virtua Tennis
Bombing Barstewards
Pool Nation
Black Ops 3
Worms Clan Wars
Mount your friends
Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed
Rock of Ages
Worms Crazy Golf
NBA 2K15
Fifa 16.

We also tend to get the wheel out and play a variety of racing games trying to beat each others time on a stage, but obviously not strictly 2 player games.

Dungeon Defenders.. I played that with two of my buddies for 10 hours straight without eating. We didn't realise the time had passed.
