Didn't know how to word the title any better...

I travel a lot and my girlfriend and I would like to play games to keep in touch and have fun in the evenings.

We played WoW for a while and it was OK, but we'd prefer something a bit lighter. It can be anything really, web-based, RPG, turn-based, action.

One issue is that my laptop doesn't have a dedicated graphics card, so it was amazing WoW ran at all.

Any ideas?

Me and my girlfriend used to play the DOTA map for warcraft3:frozen throne when we were living apart, it's surprisingly addictive and is very fun to play together.

This man speaks the truth. Despite all the games out at the moment, DotA is something me and my mates enjoy most evenings. Really recommended.

I don't really like playing DotA due to too much competitiveness compared to all the fun custom maps out for WC3, plus I prefer things like Tower Defense and the like. It used to be great just randomly joining games and downloading maps with an interesting name to see what it is :)

Which server do you play on? battle.net or eurobattle? battle.net is really really competative, but we allways play on eurobattle. Its far more relaxed but it is still full of morons =/ Luckily theres banlist! i don't play it by myself usually, mostly if theres 2 other mates with me, else i dont bother
