I've two issues with my card. First is, as with my previous X1950 pro, when viewing a video, it's shown in a bluey/yellow/red gloop. This is apparently a common thing for the model of card, and you have to turn the performance accelerator right down.
Well yes it gets rid of the problem, but I now cannot watch any clips full screen, which defeats the object  Is there a way round this?

Secondly, when I run 3d mark 06, The screen goes funny on the air ship thingy (when it's fighting that dragon) it flickers between normal and the whole screen being kind of lit up (like it's facing the sun is the best way I can describe it) It's only on that one scene, it doesn't happen on 3d mark 05 or any game I play. Should I be worried?

Try checking all the overlay settings in the catalyst control panel. Make sure you change the video settings and not just the general overlay. I know I have a problem when I update drivers for my nVidia 7600GT that resets the overlay settings and makes my videos look terrible. I just have to change that to not affect the video and it looks fine.

As for the second issue so long as you don't see it in games you play then I wouldn't worry about it too much. Probably just a driver issue. Keep updating your drivers when new ones come out and hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

I don't have CCC, I use ati tray tools. not that it matters though, it happend in CCC too. It's really annoying and detracts from what is otherwise a great card.
