Two questions about the DS3

Firstly, I think I'm going to buy this motherboard, but I do read a lot of people having problems with them, be it their RAM not seeming to work with it or properly, if you look through the recent threads you'll see what I mean. Is it a reliable motherboard, or is my money better spent elswhere?

Secondly, which is the one to go for, the 965 or 965P? I will be using the geIL 6400 RAM and a conroe 6600, and I would be looking to overclock at some point. Does it matter which chipset?

If I were to buy the 965 chipset, would that be fine with the e6600? I wouldn't want a massive overclock anyway (he says!)

Yes would be fine.

TBH I would save yourself 100 quid and get a 6300 instead.

Lol - I've just sold my e6300 chip on ebay. Wanted a e6600 so went for it. Mainly because it's easier to overclock on a DUAL-VSTA that i have currently, but I'm buying a DS3 now anyway. C'est la vie!
