Two ram questions for 2 pcs

Hi all. My girlfriend has 16 gb of ddr4 3000mhz ram in her Asus b350f motherboard. The Asus manual says it can take up to 3200mhz ram.

My pc has 32gb team force 3200mhz ram so I’m thinking of putting my ram into her computer and me upgrading my ram. My motherboard is an Asus Strix z690a motherboard which can take 3600mhz ram.

Will my ram work in her motherboard ok? Is there a specific ram I should go for? There’s an 8 pack 32gb 3600 set on the store. Would that be an upgrade for me?

Thanks. She is mainly playing Pubg and Rocket league so nothing too demanding but she is wanting to edit videos for YouTube too so I thought 32gb might help.

depending on the chip in her AMD board its not going to run passed 3200Mhz, you already have a kit at that speed.

your board on the other hand again depending on the chip the sky is the limit.

Interesting. My motherboard is an Asus rog strix z690a and cpu is 12700k. I don’t have to just go for the 3600mhz for my pc then. I can maybe go as high as 4000?
