is it possible to use 2 screens 2 mice on 1 pc?

i know an half hour session on google could bring up answers but experience tells me that soon good samaratin will show me the way.

thanks in advance.

Two screens is no problem and having two physical mice plugged in isn't a problem either but I assume you want two pointers to go along with the mice? If so then it isn't possible as far as I am aware because Windows wasn't coded to have two independent mice(or any sort of pointing device), one is always in control and the other stops until it receives an input at which point it becomes master.

I'd be interested to know if I am wrong on this though :)

Might be able to do something with Vmware running two different OSs, one on each monitor. While since I've used Vmware so it may be that you can't install virtual mice like that. Just an idea though (read; only thing I can think of).

What is it that you need two screens and two mice for anyway?

Hope this helps, null :)

what ineed 2 mice for!

when im in the middle of a 2 hour raid on WoW and the missus comes along " can i check my email" or someother pathetic use she has for my very expensive machine, i can jsut turn my second monitor and throw a mouse at her without interupting me.

It is possible, it's just the software allowing that on Windows probably doesn't exist.

Maybe not XP, but I know it was available for 9x as you used to be able to get a pack that had an expansion card with basic video and mouse/keyboard ports that could do it via it's bundled software :)
