Two settings?

I want to have two settings for my comp, one overclocked and full fans for gaming and the other with standard settings and low fan speeds (ie low noise) for internet etc

I assume the fans will be easy enough with a fan controller, but is there any way I can have multiple overclock settings and choose them at will?

Cheers for any help

Why not just try to overclock your machine anyway and use something like speedfan (or buy a fan controller) to control you fan speeds for preferred usage (idle, gaming or whatever)

Would it not get too hot if it was oc'd (cpu voltage increased) if the fans were at a low speed, even just for interent?

Or does the temp only increase with increased workload?

Guess I should just give it a go.

Cheers

It is possible if you were clocking in Windows, but personally, I advise against that. Obviously, fiddling with the BIOS would require a restart.

The easiest thing to do would just be to find a 100% stable overclock and stick to it. Idle temps should not increase must tbh.
