is this possible?

i have two feed LNB coming in and would like to use two different sky boxes

do i need 4 LNB feed ?

or can i split the two i have with a switch or something?

Just get a 4 feed LNB and bring an extra wire from the dish. This will be the easiest way to do things.

If you just want normal sky boxes (ie not Sky+ or Sky HD) then yes this is fine, as it is how sky did it when they first started.

i believe there is a 4feed LNB already on the dish with 2 feeds coming in, so possible to run another 2

the problem is that the sky dish is on the chimney, two floors up and i cant get to it so it would mean calling in a fitter to do it for me

i didnt know if there was another way to do it other than run another 2 feeds

If you want both boxes fully functioning then you will need another 2 feeds running of your existing dish then. If your not bothered about either of them recording then you could nick one of the feeds already going to the existing box, but you would only be able to record things on the same channel or in standby, so far from ideal.
