two sound cards to have the same audio output?

is there away to get two sound cards (ati's 4850 onboard sound + X-Fi XtremeGamer) to output at the same time with the same audio?

Been trying this for a few days, seems its either one SC or the other SC. Not both with the same and the same time

Can i ask you why you want them to output the same audio? What exactly are you trying to achieve?

I used to have my SB Live on at the same time as onboard sound for Virtual DJ so its def possible, but with the same audio Im not so sure.

If the same thing is going to be outputted to 2 amps then why not simply use an adapter which will split the output from one card in two?

already using an adapter for the front channel

I think it might depend on the software. Most progams will probably only use one soundcard, depending on which one is the OS default.

do u not a slave out or a line out on the amp? so you can chain them?
