This happened last night, they were driving down a single lane, speed limit of 30mph going from the looks of it at least 50mph and increasing as the engine sounded like the driver had the throttle all the way down. Was in the car in the opposite lane and said why are they driving so fast when there is a speed camera just 50 or so metres ahead. First was a E-class merc, didn't catch the second one. Anywho a few seconds later and I see the camera flash about 4 times. Don't these people use common sense? If you've never been to an area before you drive with care and should be on the lookout all the time. This happened in East London.

Just thought I'd post this. Does anyone else drive recklessly or well over the limit when going through areas unknown to you?

I usually have my satnav on if I'm somewhere I don't know, that always tells me where they are. But I don't speed much anyway, especially on roads I don't know.

Fools!

I know where all the speed cameras and mobile piggy banks hide around here but when in unkown territory, I generally have my satnav on :)

These days Im quite well behaved when it comes to speed limits. I dont usually go over 80mph on the motorways and always still to 30/40/50mph limits. If Im on roads I know well then I'll put my foot down if the mood takes me, but generally never if Im on a road I dont know.

They we're all switched off round here last month so I only have to worry about the mobile ones, unknown terrortority I have the sat nav on that warns me a good 200 yards down the road.
