I tried to change my boot drive to my second hdd by installing it on that but it ended up causing more problems that it solved and now after I formatted it when I start pc it takes me too boot options and I have two windows 7 options one of which leads to an error (because I formatted that HDD). Now I think I know of a way to sort this, but I have all my games on that HDD now. i could put them on my other again and then back across or will making the HDD that I formatted into two partitions and then formatting half then moving everything then formatting the other half work?

thanks

Ok I fix this problem. thanks guys

Though now I have another... !!

I'm trying to boot my machine and it says BootMGR is missing. or something like that. I've tried using my installation disc to repair it but it says that the media isn't the same and my OS? which it is..

I'm, thinking my only option is it upgrade my operating system to ultimate or something.

Any ideas?

update, i installed windows starter onto my other hdd so i can get on my pc now, what should i do from here in regards to fixing the issue?

is it possible to dl the bootmgr file?

Sounds like you never fixed the problem at all? Did you? How did you fix it exactly?

Why did you install starter instead of the proper version you want? Just delete all partition and start again by doing a fresh install. Easiest way.
