Landscape alert!! 'Proper' photographers please look away now!!1

;)

First was taken early one foggy morning early December. May not be technically brilliant but I think it captures a foggy morning feeling.

This next shot was taken the weekend before last at Colney Lakes. The (only) nice thing about the s9500 EVF is the built in 'rule of thirds' grid that you can lay over the image whilst taking.

Lovely pictures. Nothing I can really pick out that you could criticise. The softness of the first one adds to the picture and gives it a nice ethereal glow.

The first one has bags of atmosphere - as you say, really captures the feeling of a misty morning well. It's the hanging vegetation that tops it off for me. Fantastic.

The second one has this great steely feeling going on, really fantastic - perfect clouds :D
My only niggle would be what looks like some slightly blotchy cloning in the upper left? :\

yeh, great pictures. the first one has a great eerie atmosphere, i love the second one, perfect, no complaints. good pics :).

Remember, no pictures are necessarily bad, it's just how you interpret them!!

thanks for the comments :)

Yup, you're quite right, got rid of a bit of twig. Will re-do. Thanks for the heads up :)

I shot it in jpg instead of RAW 'cos I'm an idiot :( I've got another tinted B&W edit but I think I prefer the first one (but then I'm weird!).

I'm only now remembering to check everything every time before I take a pic. RAW, ISO, WB, histogram....

Thanks for the input :)
