Its better than oblivion, but only just, and by that I mean actual oblivion, not Oblivion the game.

asked the same question got one reply that its worth none that it isnt, now that i can get it for fiver maybe i'll buy it
try the demo for free and see if you like it, i did last weekend its got interesting way of upgrading equipment but at the same time is unreal but then its a fantasy game
I was hoping for a good combat system on horse but its pretty bad or it might be down to "quality" of the horses in demo or my rather poor horse riding skills. :S
If you want game where you can fight on horseback as well as feet try Mount&Blade, its still in beta but you can buy it now as demo lets you play to lvl 6, not sure bout price as i bought my bout 2 years ago. You can create your mods or download them.

the game is good i think for the first 10 minutes then the crappy voice acting kicks in**holy frame rate issues batman did i just see emotion** no of course not this game is made by polish people, i have polish in my family and they are the most hated people in all of europe, mainly because of this game i think.
nah its seriously rubbish, explains the cheap price
