thinking about getting the tyan Thunder K8WE anyone know if its any good? not planing on overclocking it
also will a pci-x slot accept a regular pci card ?

answering myself pci-x is fully backwards compatible with previous pci standards

Tyan make VERY stable boards. I wouldn't use anything else for servers. If you want 24/7 running then go for it.
