A silver kill coil will continue to work until it dissapears, which might take a few decades if you are just using distilled water with it

Had the same clouding problem with Tygon tubing. Its not necessarily down to using PT Nuke as I wasn't using PT when the clouding started.
I've now moved to black XSPC tubing and a silver coil in the res.

Yeah i know, but it may not hurt to have such anti-microbe tubing.
Whereas (anecdotally at least) PT-nuke appears to cause issues with some tubing.
Hmm, perhaps it was just that batch of tygon tubing.
Anyway i don't care...
H20-220 Edge kit + silver kill coil + decently distilled or DI water, & maybe the odd drop of PT_Nuke will suffice for now.

Its not a bad batch, its well documented all over the net, its the PT nuke.

Well if it's PT_Nuke that's to blame and not the tubing alone.

I used Tygon for over a year with Feser One and it still looks like new.
Funnilly enough the Masterleer with the same Feser clouded over in weeks before I changed to Tygon.
Have now gone Promochill LRT with my new build with just distilled water and a silver coil. We'll see how we get on.

All tubing will cloud over time, just takes time. The PT nuke made it happen super quick.

Failure to flush perhaps? other factors? exact type opf Tygon tube as they make about 20 different types
Seems people don't realise there are lots of different versions of tygon, r3603 is very popular. although many are moving away from it to hose like primochill proflex lrt.

R3603 contains plasticiser so will leech and this may be accelerated/made more noticable when using pt nuke from the amount of people this is happening to. If you must use r3603 use Di and silver, otherwise get some LRT.

Exactly. From memory my Tygon tubing was not r3603.
exactly, it's too simplistic to say all tygon tubing + pt_nuke is to blame.

Well seeing as i always flush my stuff properly and they were all purchased brand new what else could it be ?
I used the same tygon as before (same batch brand new) using feser and it was clear.
So all it can be is the PT nuke.
Why do you find it so hard to believe ?
I agree, cept that's not what you were originally saying.
In your original response you suggested tygon was also part of the prob.
Which it may well be, depending on the exact model you're using.
