Gibbo i used to like look of Scirroco. But its like 8g civic. All over the place. Just dont like look of both cars now :(.
First Gibbo drives that VW and then some poor ******* will buy it off as low mileage test drive car :D:D:D:D

The way I will drive it is no issue.

I'd be far more worried about the others who jump in from cold and rev it straight to 6000rpm without giving everything time to warm up.

Can anyone here point me towards a good ATR buyers guide? I've just seen one for sale and really fancy something petrol again

I'm guessing you can expect around 30mpg out of these? I only do a 24 mile trip to work and back each day so I'm figuring a diesel car really isn't warranted anyway?

Any other advice would be much appreciated :)

Thanks

I shall try search for him.

Goodyear F1AS2. Great in wet but too squidgy in dry so would recommend RE050A or S001.

S2000s like stiff tyres, never but T1Rs on

If I am being honest mate, you were looking at paying much, much more for an FN2 only last month, so if that money is still there, then paying ABP should surely be the best idea. Sure, anything you are capable of doing yourself, get it done to reduce the cost. but you got the car at a storming price so it makes sense to take it to a specialist.

I would much rather take my car to ABP over a main dealer.

I'll be changing the gear oil myself this weekend as 3rd is notchy. I'm getting a little concerned that it might be the Synchro issue that plagued the 2007 Models of the Type R. Only time will tell. If it is that, then it won't be as cheap a motor as I first thought!

Might aswell get the rest done at ABP, as there is no blooming chance of me removing that undertray thats under the car :o

This!

I'm missing the Type-R as this Scirroco I'm currently running about in simply does not have the fun or more race car feel the Type-R had, but saying that this Scirroco is a very very capable car, tons of grip.

Want to buy it back? £5900 :p

Don't ABP change the box oil as part of the service anyway? And whatever you do keep it as Honda MTF, don't stray away from it!
