Type R and VTEC owners

You're looking at 260 inc tyres refitted/rebalanced etc but the finish is great, I do clean my wheels regularlyish though :)

for £260 on a refurb, I am just going to get a set of refurbed/decent condition oem alloys and use them as my main set.

For the first few weeks with mine I was returning 36mpg only my daily 30 mile (each way) commute which is a mixture of fast DCW, twisty B roads and a little bit of town driving. The previous owner logged every tank of fuel and the mileage in a book, and he managed up to 42mpg, though he admitted that was going for ultimate economy and doing no more than 60mph on DCW/motorway.

I'm now getting between 30-32mpg, a combination of the colder weather and driving it a bit harder than I used to.

In my EP3 doing short, local journeys, in the cold, with defog time is around 22-24mpg. Longer journey on A and B roads got me 33.5mpg.

If you're spending that much, it's worth getting an alignment done to ensure you're tyres are all pointing in the same direction.

Yes I've seen the article but nothing has been officially confirmed unless I've missed something as I've not been reading up as much as I usually do

Auto Express isnt the most reliable source of information
