Type R and VTEC owners

Maybe one day, got priorities elsewhere other than fast cars atm.

I want to keep the CRZ for a good few years and potentially supercharge it with the Mugen kit as that would be quite fun!

Other than that the only other cars that I could realistically afford in a few years time that hold my interest are the 370z and GT86.

I would go for gt 86 with paddle shifter option over 370 i think :P
 
Sounds like it has VTEC with Turbo. Unless it's a 2.0 N/A derived from the F20C? Since that does push out around 250PS? I wouldn't be surprised if they tuned it to 280.
 
lord zed GT86 with paddle shifters is horrific. 370 for sure, synchro rev control even on the manual ;)

I spoke to tegiwa on facebook today and he told me about that intake and I told him it wasn't on his site yet, so he's promptly put it online and at least 3 people have suggested me to buy it today lol.
 
£300 for that, seems like daylight robbery to me.

Oh and that new Civic is definitely turbocharged. If the horrible muted drony sound wasn't enough of a giveaway then the choo choo noises certainly are. I though it has been a well established fact that it will be turbo for quite some time anyway?

How hard can it be to swap a B series, two days plausible? Hire/borrow an engine lift. Have to take the gearbox off my old block and then attach. The fly and clutch are still new so that saves time. anything else I should hire that could stop me having a bad time?

It's a very simple operation to get the engine and box out of a Civic, even 6 hours would be a very relaxed effort providing none of the exhaust fasteners have seized solid (and they seem to be pretty good usually).
 
Just take your time muffin. Double check everything and where you need to upgrade anything do it. Oil is key so flat level and get it set properly. The atr was very prone to the slightest off levelling in measuring and it would throw the oil level off by quite a lot.

Doesn't sound anything like VTEC and I'm sure it's not going over 6000rpm in that vid.

Horrible sounding lawnmower thing!
 
Was hoping for a Turbo VTEC, but that thing sounds **** and looks like a fat heffer.

God I hope I'm wrong, but it doesn't look good going from some other Ring flyby vids.

Boy Ricer territory :) and i do like stuff like that.

I forgot that 370 got that rev synch thing i seen on topgear. Would need to drive both to decide.

But i do like look of gt86 more tho :P on other hand its only 200bhp :/ and on other other hand it loves turbos so :D

Get intake first and record us sound of it :D Bet you can hear it SUCK ^^ I love that sound :D
