Type R and VTEC owners

Rage wheels are so horrific that a member on the civ info forum messaged me asking how much better my car feels on 17" Evo 8 rims...

The step down from stock 18s was amazing. So from 19s would be a completely different car!

If I wanted sporting ability I wouldn't be choosing a 200BHP FWD with nil torque.

I've driven two, was wholly disappointed compared to the EP3 in honesty. The FN2 however appeals to me as a nice looking little hatch with a bit of fun in it when asked.

In 12 months I've owned a Golf R32, Impreza STI and VXR Nurb. I see the FN2 as the climax of my mad period as I begin to cool off :D

Hi guys

Okay so currently I have a EP2 civic and was considering buying an FN2 in the near future.
I keep hearing that the suspension is really stiff and that it's hard to live with. Is it really as bad as people are making it out to be?

Also, I currently spend about £20 for 100 miles around town. Anyone with an FN2 care to share how much they roughly spend on fuel?

Cheers

Type R Guru's, Need some quick advice please.

Been offered a 07 Civic Type R GT FN2 for £4200. It's hpi clear, 1 owner on logbook, just been taxed for 6 months and 12 months mot aswell. The car is silver, drives perfect, no cruncing or anything and obviously has all the GT extra's aswell with good tyres all around.

Does have the agre related marks and scuffs here and there but the car isnt bad, interior is very clean. Only downside is, Mileage on car is now 144K.

Is it worth £4000? Either to keep for myself or make a small profit on?

4k seems very reasonable.

yeah its high miles but you just need a complete service history on it and to ensure the engine is in decent condition.

ensure it has had the valve clearances done etc.
probably best to check the roof for rust too :D

i did an S2000 quote online today. and its finally sub £600. my face did this:
