Type R and VTEC owners

Anyone know where I can purchase a replacement fuse for my 2006 Civic? I have found the mini blade fuses but it is my front windscreen wipers which has blown and it is a large square fuse which I can't find anywhere on the web. Its 30 Amp.

Dropped my low level honda s2000 spoiler off to be re-sprayed in new formula red, hopefully will get a good match on the car, from what i can tell new formula red does not seem to fade or discolor as much as other reds such as milano, not had any dealings with the body shop before but heard some really good things and they are only a small shop so hopefully wont be disappointed with the finish!

I did spray it in matt black plasti dip but only had a little more than half a can left, which gave me 4 coats, think it needed more and would not of lasted so i peeled it off!

What are people getting out of their 2.2 i-DTEC's on a run? See to struggle to get above 50-52 mpg sticking to 70 indicated. If I do 75 indicated it drops slightly to 48-50 mpg. Just wondering if this is in line with other people who have this engine.

That like the BMWChopshop OEM style one?

Normal in this weather

Cheers Simon. Do you mean it goes up or down as the temperature increases? Also which oil should I put in it, it's a few k off a service, but the oil is starting to go toward the min, and I've no idea what they put in last. I guess I could just get an oil change done anyway.

Mine (ictdi) was getting 65mpg on the motorway. As soon as I hit town that drops quite drastically. Around town driving I get high 30's

That coupled with my computer reading higher than my fuel app by about 3-4 mpg makes me think your 50ish mpg isn't so bad :)

They need ambients of 20C for 55mpg+

Cold weather kills diesel economy as they take forever to warm up.

Oil should be 0W-30 A5/B5 for non DPF. DPF need 0w-30 C2 oils. Either is fine for top up.

yea but its a genuine Honda one that bolts on slightly different to the bmw one but they look very similar, got it from a crashed car, wanting the lip next but struggling to find oem honda one, so may resort buying it new £430 i believe.

That's cool you got a OEM one. I know what you mean about the lip, and its not worth getting an OEM copy from what I have heard with painting and fitment adding to the cost anyhow.

Yea i have heard good things about bmwchopshop ones being extremely good quality and fit, but i still wanted OEM even though its probably cost me twice as much as the bmwchopshop one would have, the front lip however i have heard horror stories about having to make adjustments to it, having to heat it up and bend it to fit and still not getting a perfect fit, also they all seem to either glue on or just stick on with double sided tape when the original one bolts on and also comes with the black weather strip which makes it look a lot better! but i like to stick to oem parts where i can for quality and perfect fit, even if it means paying a little more.

Vita, any chance of letting us (read: me) know how much the valve clearances will cost? Need to get round to getting my DC5's done at some point.

It's a £100 surcharge at Honda on-top of a service (way I'm dong it). If you have a specialist near you it'll be cheaper. I'd use a specialist but I'm getting a check on my car, to see if there is anything serious with the engine. Plus I want to keep the FSH up.
