Type R and VTEC owners

What tyres do you all use? Ive currently got some horrendous budget tyres that came with it but they are brand new so not sure whether to change them now or wait till they have worn a bit.

Looking at the sport contact 3's, seem to be the best bet.

Bridgestone's always work best on Type R's. RE050A are a good bet, or RE070A if you can find them. Yokohama Advan AD08 are very good also. I'm currently using RE002 and have no complains so far:

TBH, they've only been on for around 75 miles so they haven't scrubbed in, commenting would be unfair, but, in saying that they feel great so far.

Will be interesting to hear your view when scrubbed in.

Might have a look at these when my RS2s are low on tread.

Got my valve clearances done on the S2000 today with the help of a forum member from S2ki. Actually seems a bit smoother to drive now, wasn't expecting any change really even though they were out a bit. Could just be my imagination though.

Unfortunately spotted a hole in the boot floor that I missed, so will have to get that sorted ASAP!

Okay guys tips for stone chips on the FN2? My front skirt is looking rather sorry for its self on close inspection - bonnet is not much better :(

I love my Honda and this is my ep3. No major mods but just recently upgraded the exhuast to a Tegiwa Imports stainless steel cat-back!

Hmm - any estimates for a front end respray? (bonnet + front skirt at a guess)

Depends on the garage and I daresay the quality of the work. Where in the country are you?

EDIT just seen Hastings. Try King Coachcraft in Sheerness. Quality of the work on my DC2 was awesome and fantastic prices. The guy that runs it loves his Jap cars too. If you ring him tell him I said hi and thanks once again.

Rear Tie bars

thoughts?

asked on TRO forum and getting mixed opinions.

some say they are for show, others say they make a difference.

Done the fast road setup yet? :p

This,

Stop researching bars to stick over windows, roof racks, wheel bars, brake line bars, oil cap bars and other JDMness and get the car setup by a pro who knows what they're doing with these cars.

Then enjoy the thing :D
