As much asi do prefer the facelift models I am glad my early one has got the aero kit on it with the extra spoilers.

Well I say aero kit, the factory front lip, side spats/strikes or whatever they are called and the rear spoiler.

Yeah they need a meaner front end, previous owner fitted the Js Racing bumper lip to mine.

I'm not sure on the side spats though

Yep that's the one. Need to track down a decent front lip now. A lot of mixed reports on the eBay ones and I refuse to pay the £800odd quid Honda charge.

I could take or leave the sides, not fussed either way, but like my front lip and boot spoiler

First time I've ventured in this thread. Time for a new car and I quite like the EP3 Type R's. Can a decent one be had between 2.5k to 3k? Any links? Anything I should look out for. Could possibly stretch to 3.5k aswell.

Inevitable but with it being a 1.6 here's hoping it's a nice high compression unit on a low weight platform. More UK involvement, so expect no LSD and lower power than the JDM

new civic just doesnt inspire me at all. i really dont understand why their UKDM type R models are dumbed down from the JDM versions. seems plain dumb.

the people looking to buy a type r because its a type r will surely want all of the things that make a type r what it is

Relentless81 i would rather have 1.6 turbo than 2l na. That is if they cant shave weight to ep3 level or lower.
