Type R Showdown

Out of all the type R's........which is the fastest? obviously Im not including the NSX

Accord
Civic (current UK model and EK-9)
Integra (DC-2 and DC-5)

I usually go by what Evo say, and they said that the Accord is "one of the finest front drivers ever". But Im interested in which is the fastest, seeing as they all have similar engines.

My guess is that the Integra DC-5 Type R is the fastest out of all of them, if not then its the Accord.

Anyone else agree?

I think that the civic is the slowest round the track out of all of them.....iirc

Nice one poppy, ive been looking for ages for an ATR owners forum. Never came up on google. Going to see a couple this weekend

I trust Evo magazine.....their advice is pretty rock solid.

(once again) Evo quote 6.1 for the ATR and 6.8 for the civic. Although I know 0-60 doesnt count for much. I reckon the ATR is faster in a straight line than the civic.

I think Im going to take a massive loan out, buy all of them, then hire out castle combe and have a proper showdown. Anyone care to participate??
