Hi, I was hoping for some advice here. I'm trying to think how I might be able to use my skills into working for a website or something.
I have fast typing along with editing skills. I used to do legal audio transcription and so have a fast typing speed along with good editing skills. I've been out of the transcription industry for many years now. After working for about 5 years, I burnt out and realised sitting at a desk hammering away 8hrs/day developing carpal tunnel syndrome wouldn't do my long term health much good. Indeed, there was a high burn out rate for many transcribers in the industry and so in many regards my 5 yrs was normal. Since then, things have changed a lot; the internet has evolved, we all have smart phones, and we're freer than ever. I haven't looked into this but I'm guessing when it comes to transcription these days the AI must have developed to a large degree meaning that the transcriber's work would be more editing into coherent language what the AI spews out rather than actually typing the words.
FWIW, I would say I have a good understanding of the internet and how youtube works. I have good working skills with MS Word and Excel though generally working out how to use software is not too difficult. I don't have coding skills though.
I also have experience with finance and cryptocurrencies.
