Ok i have a boardman team hybrid that came with vittoria zaffiro 700x28 tyres and would like to change them to something a little bit bigger to help with the bumpy and pot holed roads by me.

I have been looking at 700x32 tyres but have no idea what to get, mainly for road use but would like something that rolls well and is ok in bad weather.

How about schwalbe marathons?

Marathons will keep the fairy away, they might last forever, but they weigh nearly 1Kg each.

Over the summer, many have been going potty over the £13 Vittoria Voyager Hyper folding bead at PlanetX.
 
Check whatever you buy will fit on the rear my hybrid is quite slim around the rear and I struggled getting something that fits. Even if they theoretically fitted one slight wheel wobble or busted spoke caused rubbing mid ride which was annoying.
