Its time for a new set of rear tyres as they are getting rather low on tread now.

At the moment I have Eagle F1's and I could wack another set on the rear but tyre wear is a issue for me and I need them to last.

My tyre size for the rears are 235/40/17 so tyres cost a fair bit.

I would rather sacrifice a slight bit of grip for a tyre that will last longer but looking around for tyres I dont know what to go for.

I can get Dunlop SP9000 fitted and balanced for £230 but I have no idea if they are a good tyre.

Or should I just stick some more F1's on my car.

I know what you are saying, grip is what keeps you on the road but replacing tyres every few months costing close to £100 each is going to hurt.

Its not like im going for cheap remoulds. I just need a tyre that grips and lasts long. :p

The tyres on my car were put on in Nov and one of them is total dead ish.

Has to be something wrong with the suspension or camber for it to kill one rear tyre and the other one to be fine?
