Tyre pressure question

I've just brought some 18" alloys for my golf mk5 and was wondering what tyre pressures they should be set at, the same as the current steel ones?

do any other mk5s come with the same size tyres? if so, copying vw's settings may be a good starting point.. better than just putting a random pressure in there

No, don't use the same pressures they don't feel right at all.

LCR Comes with 18" wheels and should be about the same weight as your golf, on mine i'm currently running 39psi up front and 36 at the rear but its a much bigger car, 34psi all round felt too low going to have a mess around with 38psi at the front see if it makes any diff since at the moment it seems to ride a little hard.
