I'm sort of bored paying £1 for air and the machine quickly stops working, the free ones in my area are all dodgy.

Does anyone know of any good products that I can keep at home to check and inflate/deflate the tyre pressure? If they need plugging in that is ok as well.

just go to halfords and get one of their electric inflators.

it's also worth getting a pressure guage seperate, because they're better than the ones built into the inflators normally.

The free one at my local Tesco is fine :/

The beauty of the ruthless Tesco, it's probably free in your area because not many use it. Here they charge £1 for about 5 mins.

many indy's will do your pressures for free, just pop in and be friendly.

None of the free ones work within 5 miles of me and the ones that do cost as well. I've paid out about £25 now so I might as well just buy my own it is more convienient, I'll go look at halfords.

Tesco one I use is fine, you tell it what pressure and it inflates.. then again saying that I have one that goes off the fag lighter.. done use that one..

The Michelin electric ones from Halfords are very good, it's ciggie lighter only. Are you trying to pump the tyres on a bike?

I also have one of those Michelin ones from Halfords, they are very good. You just set it to the desired pressure and it cuts out when it reaches it.

Halfords digital pump. Fits to the ciggeret lighter. Can set the pressure and it pumps. Best Buy I've ever made. And it was only around £20.

Yeah, they save a lot of hassle - I bought it after getting fed up with trying to pump 18" tyres up to 42psi every fortnight.
