The missus has had a fight with a kerb in her car and evidently lost.

I wouldn't normally question this and just get it gone but it has not long been replaced and probably only seen 500 miles or so.

Is this still safe? it mostly looks like rim protector damage (Can't really blame it for failing to do its job in this scenario :D ) but figured I'd go for a second opinion.

Would you leave and monitor or just get it off and get some new ones on there?

UPDATE: We use a local place with a mobile mechanic who lives not far from us, he stopped by on his way home and said its fine, just keep an eye on it in case a bulge forms and then get if replaced it needed. They told us the date they fitted them too, only been on since 24th September so glad they've said to not worry.

I had one like that on a car years ago and it was fine. But those were Eagle F1s and had a rim protector.

I think they may be eagles, or Pilot Sport 4s can't actually remember what I went with in the end.
