One of my tyres is leaking air, filled it up to the recommended 2 bar 2 weeks ago, then checked Sat morning, back down to 0.8 bar :| Looked today again, and looks deflated again (not as bad as sat, but getting there).

My question is - should I change just the 1 tyre, or is it better to change them all together? Should I change wheels as well, as it might be a damaged wheel (they look quite battered actually) ?

I think it depends on how much life there is left in them. I have a slow puncture in on the rear of my MG at the moment that means it needs pumping up every morning. I've lived with it for 6 months and now the rears have done 6K I'll swap them both. If the tyres are fairly new you could just swap the one tyre, basically try to keep the tyres fairly close in terms of wear.

I would take it to a fast fit place and get them to tell you what the problem is, ie. puncture, leaking valve, leaking rim etc.

agree with dirtydog - there could just be a leak around the rim where its not sealed properly, or the valve. It could also be a very small hole in the tyre.

The tyre can be fixed quite cheaply, certainly a lot cheaper than a new tyre.

If you want to find out what the problem is yourself, take the wheel off and submerge it in a big container of water - whereever bubble come out - there's your leak :)
