Anyone know any decent tyre fitters in Surrey who open on a Sunday?

My wife has just pointed out that the side wall has gone one one of the front tyres (there's a bump about 3cm across) and she's got a 3 hour motorway journey tomorrow.

Kwik-fit are open, but I'm looking for someone else who's competent, cheaper and does Eagle F1s.

Many thanks for any help.

I have never, ever been able to get Eagle F1's fitted to any car without having to order them.

I got 4 fitted to our MX5 about 18months after most had nails in them!
Had them fitted on the drive, about 2hrs after I called up!

Would have loved to but it's a space saver, not a full size.

I sinned. I ended up at South Wimbledon Kwik Fit who had 4 in stock. Since I had to go to Balham at lunch time it was one the way.

So you went to Kwik Fit for your tyre - did they not also point out that the suspension is knackered and your brakes also need replacing?

I wouldn't have done that. I made that mistake once thinking 'They are fitting 4 tyres, how hard can it be'.

Very hard.

I told them to change the tyre and I'll be back in an hour. That way they don't get the chance to make stuff up, I just wanted to pay for what I asked for when I came back.

Only had the one tyre changed. Didn't really have any choice but to go to them. They were open, they had stock and they were in the right place.

I spent an hour waiting outside and indy whose website says he opens at 9 on a Sunday. Does he ********. Needs must, etc, etc.
