mums' corolla needs a whole new set of 4
which are the best? my usual place is givin me michelin primacy 195/60/r15 V for 66.50 each

are there any other brands I should consider?

Loads of others................. but you could go round in circles for ages. I compared about a dozen sets for mine recently, web reports, etc and finally ended up with a set of..... Michelin Primacy Pilots 205/55/16W from Costco at £64 +VAT each and have been well impressed with them. Local tyre place wanted £93 for same.

BTW that's a godd price fitted I assume cheaper than My Tyres on the Web.

Does anyone know how well Michelin Pilot Sports compare to Goodyear Eagle F1s? Costco sell the Pilot Sports, and it's so easy getting the tyres done there, I can't be bothered faffing with buying tyres online.

How about Goodyear Hydragrips?

They cost me ~£105 for 2 for my Leon. Though they were 195/65/R15, so i guess the pricing wont be the same :D

how much would a tyre fitter charge to fit tyres?
my local does it for £10 each and free disposal of the old one's or theres another local that does it for £9 plus £1 disposal either way its the same really unless you want to keep the tyre? maybe create a rubber swing in the back garden :p or a climbin frame of all your old tyres ;) might take a while to make a wall of em them though :(
